This charming very spacious modern flint detached cottage sleeps up to 8 people. The location on the edge of the village of Briston makes for excellent countryside views. Railway Cuttings Cottage is a great place for a large family or group to unwind.
There are 4 spacious bedrooms and in addition to the permanent cot, you could easily fit travel cots in too.
The cottage was a great addition to the holiday home market joining Norfolk’s Hidden Gems in the summer of 2015. The owners of Railway Cuttings Cottage have made sure that it is in top order maintenance wise. They have also filled the cottage with all the comforts of home plus extras.
Many guests have already fallen in love with the property, the location and North Norfolk in general just as a result of staying here.
Guests have ample space to get together around the large dining table, roomy lounge area and the games room. The property feels light and airy which lends itself to having a holiday home feel in the communal areas.
The rear garden is large and laid to lawn with mature beds and has plenty of room to tire children and adults alike. The table and chairs make a great option for al-fresco dining on the patio. The patio can be accessed from the dining area’s double french doors.
Being fenced in the garden is secure and safe for well-behaved children and dogs.
Railway Cuttings Cotatge is sited on the South-eastern edge of Briston village. Backing onto estate land, there are fields and woodland as far as the eye can see.
Briston village itself has shops, bakers, butchers, fresh fish and great eating pubs only a walk away.
Railway Cuttings is only a short drive from the historic market town of Holt, a regular haunt of the Royal family when in Sandringham. There are regular shops and cafes together with plenty of antique and bookshops.
For foodies Holt is delightful, daytime breakfasts, lunches and Cream teas are all catered for. On offer in Holt, are evening meals with most tastes catered for along with takeaway offers aplenty too.
Nearby are Morston (bird reserve and seal viewing trips) Blakeney, Cley and Salthouse. A little further along the coast to the east are Sheringham, Cromer and Wells Next the Sea, Stiffkey, Brancaster Staithe, Hunstanton and Heacham are to the West.
Norwich is a 40-minute drive away as is Kings Lynn and Wroxham on The Norfolk Broads. Sandringham, Blickling and Holkham estates are all a great day out too.
