    Bewilderwood

The amazing play park that is Bewilderwood is perfect for all the family.  The park is set in woodland to the north east of Norwich near to Wroxham and the Norfolk Broads,

BeWILDerwood offers an exciting range of activities for everyone. Set in 18 acres of woods and parkland the site includes zip lines, mazes, slides and lots of tree climbing to discover magical tree houses hidden amongst the canopies.

From Treetop walks to boat rides, face painting to storytelling the site is a magical world of discovery for old and young alike. Although aimed mainly at 2-12-year-olds, everyone can delight in the activities available and all have been based on the books written by creator Tom Blofeld.

    Events

All kinds of events are organised throughout the year so, depending on when you decide to go, more could be on offer than you might expect – including evening lantern parades! You could also get involved in storytelling, puppet shows and treasure hunts.

An ideal place to make an alternative kind of day out and will fire up the imagination of everyone.

    Award-winning park

BeWILDerwood is an award-winning park.  It has been voted the overall winner in the Primary Times Reader Star Awards and the Family Attraction category.  Praise indeed when you see the competition in this country in these categories. Having won first prize for the Outdoor Play category imagine the amount of fun waiting for all the family here.

Included in the price are all the side attractions, such as the face painting and storytelling.  Once inside you only need by refreshments that you need.  Even the parking is free here.  You can use the small selection of food outlets provided on site.  Alternatives include picnic areas for those to wish to bring their own supplies.

BeWILDerwood has been a revelation to the list of attractions on offer in Norfolk and seems to have propelled us from the run of the mill into something as unique as it is special. Here in the team at Norfolk’s Hidden Gems we have parents and grandparents who have taken children to the park, all have reported an intention to return.

An unusual fact is that prices are based on height rather than age: Under 92cm free; 92–105cm £14.50; over 105cm £16.50; over 65’s £9.50.
