Nan’s Cottage

Nan’s Cottage Features

Nan’s Cottage

Nan’s Cottage is a charming 1826 flint cottage sleeping six in three bedrooms over two floors.

Entrance
The front door opens into a pan tiled entrance hall with washing machine and shoe rack. This leads to a bathroom on one side (with a shower over the bath) and a double bedroom to the other side which is ideal for elderly or mobility impaired guests.

The hallway leads into a modern fitted oak kitchen with a dining table that seats 6 plus one (high chair).  Off the kitchen are double patio doors leading to the fenced rear garden and alfresco dining area.

Next to the kitchen is the lounge with 3 leather double sofas. The lounge has books, games, DVDs, Free-sat HD TV and Blu-ray DVD player.

From the lounge, there is a unique spiral stairway going up to two bedrooms. One is a large king size master bedroom and the other is twin bedded, furnished in a striking black and white finish.

Nan’s Cottage outside and garden

As you arrive there is a sign to show you Nan’s Cottage parking area. The front garden is laid to lawn with a sectioned off gravel area for parking. There is extra space to park forward of the garden on the gravel road to the property.

The rear garden is laid to pea shingle and has a seating area just outside the patio doors off the kitchen and a separate outdoor dining area. There is also access to a BBQ for the summer months.

There is a private Hot Tub to make the most of your relaxing breakaway in North Norfolk.

The rear of the property looks out over the Stody estate arable fields and woodland as far as you can see.

The rear garden is fenced so the area is secure and safe for well-behaved dogs.

Surrounding area

The property is sited on the North Eastern edge of Briston village with views over fields and woodland.

The cottage is only a short drive from the historic market town of Holt, a regular haunt of the Royal family when in Sandringham. There are regular shops and cafes together with plenty of antique and bookshops.

Nearby are Morston (bird reserve and seal viewing trips) Blakeney, Cley and Salthouse. A little further along the coast gets you to Sheringham, Cromer and, in the opposite direction, Wells Next the Sea and Burnham Market.

Norwich is a 40-minute drive away as is Kings Lynn. Sandringham, Blickling and Holkham estates are all a great day out too.
