Visit the Royal Norfolk Show this summer
Norfolk Showground, Norwich NR5 0TT – Wed 1 – Thur 2 July
The Royal Norfolk Show is the UK’s largest two-day country show. This year’s show at the Norfolk Showground will once again be packed with the very best of Norfolk. With 700 trade stands, over 3000 animals, a packed Grand Ring Programme, Norfolk’s biggest food and drink experience and hundreds of attractions there’s something for everyone.
Amazona Zoo, Cromer
Hall Road, Cromer, NR27 9JG, on all summer
Amazona Zoo is one of the county’s most unique and fun days out where families can discover South American wildlife. The zoo is home to over 200 tropical animals including jaguars, monkeys, snakes, flamingos and tapirs. It is committed to helping visitors discover nature and provide education on conservation issues.
Holkham Open Air Concerts
Little Mix, Open Air Concert, Sat 18th July
Pop superstars Little Mix are taking their unmissable live show on the road next year with their 21-date Summer 2020 tour. The world’s biggest girl band will perform to fans across England, Scotland and Wales including this show at Holkham Hall on Saturday 18 July 2020. The tour will see Little Mix perform some of their greatest hits including ‘Woman Like Me’, ‘Touch’, ‘Shout Out to My Ex’, ‘Black Magic’ and ‘Wings’.Speaking about the Summer 2020 Tour, the group said: “Performing live is our favourite thing to do as a band, we love it. Our last Summer tour in 2018 was one of our favourites ever, so we can’t wait for some more brilliant outdoor shows next year. Holkham Marble Hall Concerts
Fri 24th – Sat 25th July, Holkham Hall, NR23 1AB
- Diva Opera – Carmen – Friday 24th July, 7pm
- Diva Opera – Don Giovanni – Saturday 25th July, 7pm
Diva Opera, Britain’s foremost chamber opera company, return to Holkham’s Marble Hall for their performance of Carmen on Friday followed by Don Giovanni on Saturday. Tickets include Champagne on arrival.
The 139th Sandringham Flower Show
Wed 29th July, Sandringham PE31 6AZ
Sandringham Flower Show is one of the most prestigious horticultural events in the East of England. It is a unique event offering not only the best in horticulture but also an excellent day out, filled with family entertainment.
Set in the magnificent surroundings of Sandringham Park with Sandringham House and Sandringham Church as a backdrop, this one-day Show attracts around 20,000 visitors each year. From the beginning, the Show has been privileged to enjoy Royal patronage and traditionally our Royal Patron attends the Show.

Days Out at Blickling Estate
Blickling, Aylsham, Norfolk, NR11 6NF, open all summer
There is so much to do and see at Blickling, one day is never enough. Part of the National Trust, if it is too far from where you are staying you will be able to find other National Trust properties nearby.
Sandringham Summer Food and Drink Festival
8th – 9th August, Sandringham Estate, Kings Lynn, Norfolk PE35 6EN
Free parking, doors open 10 am until 6 pm. See the show details for the timings on particular chefs and activities.
Try Blakeney Point Seal Trips this summer
One of the unique treats of North Norfolk is the seal colonies. Blakeney Seal Trips are very popular and rightly so. The Seals live just off the coast on sandbanks in The Wash and on Blakeney Point. Blakeney Point is undoubtedly one of the best places to see them close up. There are trips that leave Blakeney Quay and Morston.
